    When you are taking that journey in life, thinking you have the plan for the rest of your physical time here, “Life’s Plan” doesn’t always match up with yours.  Deciding what to do with a 30+ year Retail Auto history, I took an opportunity to join a software company building an eSignature platform in hopes of learning how DocuSign operated and could something be developed for the auto industry? I could see that DocuSign had the name that got everything started, but when I looked up their website, of the 26 industries listed, AUTOMOTIVE wasn’t and STILL ISN’T one of them.

     Working in a software environment allowed me to learn/study these digital products seeing how they could be applied to the automobile business. As I started to visit dealers, talk to CRM’s, State Independent and OEM Events, the issue was the same. NO ONE wanted to operate out of a separate portal!! As I went along, competing with DocuSign or any large software company for DealerTracks or Route 1’s eSignature F&I business was not the solution to fix the problem, but a way to make $$ on something that isn’t that difficult to do.

     As more time passed, I came to the realization after many talks with different people in the auto and software industries, that the solution was not a single digital product, but a combination of digital products integrated through API permissions into your DMS/CRM. So, I formed the company ,  believing that the way to do this was a conversion and conversion only. Once the one-time conversion is complete, then companies can sit in their office, call you, push a button to switch digital providers, and send you a bill. Until then, some company is going to have to figure out something I couldn’t. How to make all of this happen, do the training, and include an Event Planner your marketing agency can use AND a Digital Communication Center (DCC), which streamlines your internal communication plus much more, without coming into your Auto Group and SHOWING YOU WHILE WORKING WITH YOU how to use the  system.

     This last year has been eye-opening as to no matter how much you believe or how hard you work, there are and always will be those people you come across that test your faith and commitment. What we are taking on is not going to be an easy task, but all preparation has been done, and are extremely excited to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
